In this Crocs All Terrain Review I want to highlight the things that separate the Crocs All Terrain Clog from the Crocs Classic Clog. I own nine different types of Crocs clogs so I can give you a nice perspective on what makes the Crocs All Terrain unique, and how Crocs All Terrain Sizing compares to other Crocs clogs.

My Thoughts on the Crocs All Terrain

Crocs All Terrain Weight

My size 12 men’s Crocs All Terrain shoes weigh 0.56 pounds per shoe. This put the Crocs All Terrain around the middle of the pack when I weighed the nine types of Crocs that I own (how much Crocs weigh). Here I am weighing my Crocs All Terrain size 12:

Below is a table comparing how the Crocs All Terrain weight compares to the other Crocs clogs that I have tried. All the weights listed below are based off of one size 12 men’s shoe. I also provided links to those clogs in case you want more information on them:

Crocs All Terrain Design

  • Enhanced Tread – The Crocs All Terrain have enhanced tread compared to Crocs Classics. If you plan to wear your Crocs outdoors, these will be the better options over Crocs Classics. Here is the tread pattern of the Crocs All Terrain vs Crocs Classic:

  • Adjustable Heel Strap – These Crocs All Terrain clogs have an adjustable heel strap that allows you to tighten the shoes better, which provides more secure support on outdoor terrain. This adjustable heel strap is something that the Crocs Classics do not have.

  • Design – The Crocs All Terrain do have the standard ventilation holes around the toe box. It is also an open-heel design, but as we discussed above, the heel strap is adjustable. It has the same type of insole design as my Crocs Classics (more on that below).

Potential Drawbacks to Consider

  • Debris – These Crocs All Terrain clogs have ventilation holes that allow water and small debris to drain, and keep the shoe very breathable in hot weather. But, it is fair to point out that these ventilation holes also create opportunities for debris like small rocks to enter the shoe. Something to consider if you will be using these for outdoor recreation.
  • No LiteRide – I personally love the Crocs LiteRide insoles, and although these Crocs All Terrain clogs have the same comfortable “CrosLite” foam cushioning common to Crocs Classics, they don’t have the LiteRide insole. If you are unfamiliar with the LiteRide insole, it provides extra foam cushioning under the foot. The LiteRide insole is offered in several Crocs clogs. In the video below, I tried to capture how soft these LiteRide insoles are (again, the All Terrains clogs don’t have LiteRide insoles):

Crocs All Terrain Sizing

In my experience, the Crocs All Terrain Sizing fits true to size. It has what Crocs calls a “roomy” fit, which is their roomiest, widest toe box. Don’t expect Crocs All Terrain clogs (or really any Crocs clogs) to fit narrow.

Crocs All Terrain clogs have a wide design, but I found the length of the Crocs All Terrain clogs to be true to size and pretty consistent when compared to other popular shoes. Remember, the Crocs All Terrain has the adjustable heel strap to help you find the right fit.

Below are comparison photos I took for Crocs All Terrain sizing. As you can see, the toe box area is wider than most other types of shoes.

Other Crocs to Consider

As I mentioned earlier, I recently tried nine different types of Crocs, including these Crocs All Terrain clogs, to compare them on sizing, comfort, and design. To read more, visit my Crocs articles linked below:

Where to Buy Crocs All Terrain

The Crocs All-Terrain Clogs are a variation of the Crocs Classic Clogs, but with a couple small tweaks that make them more appropriate for outdoor recreation. These All-Terrain Crocs have enhanced tread for better grip in outdoor terrain.

These Crocs also have an adjustable heel strap that allows you to tighten the shoes better, which provides more secure support. Crocs All Terrain Sizing I found to be true to size, but with a roomy toe box area. Despite the extra tread, these were still one of the lightest-in-weight clogs that I tried.

This is where you can buy these Crocs All-Terrain Clogs available at Crocs.com (paid affiliate link takes you to Crocs.com). Again, in my experience, Crocs All Terrain sizing fits true to size.
