Recently I purchased ten of the most popular types of Crocs clogs so I could compare them on many things, including weight. The biggest takeaway for me was that all types of Crocs clogs are consistently lightweight, and none of the ten styles weigh more than a pound for a size 12 men’s. Here’s what you need to know regarding Crocs weight:

  • Out of the ten styles I weighed, I found the average Crocs weight for a size 12 men’s clog to be 0.62 pounds per shoe.
  • The lightest in weight were the Crocs Classic Clogs and the Crocs Baya Clogs which both weighed 0.43 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s.
  • Crocs work clogs consistently weighed the most. The Crocs On-the-Clock work clog weighed the most out of all the clogs I tried. It weighed 0.84 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s.

Below is a table listing the weight of Crocs for the ten styles that I tried. All the Crocs weights listed below are based off of one size 12 men’s shoe. I also provided links to those clogs in case you want more information on them:

In this article let’s take a closer look at the weight of each of these types of Crocs, and discuss how they differ regarding purpose. I will also link to my other Crocs resources in case you want to do more reading.

How Much Do Crocs Weigh?

As we discussed above, when I weighed ten different styles of Crocs clogs, I found the average Crocs weight for one men’s size 12 clog to be 0.62 pounds. Crocs are very lightweight compared to other types of shoes, and this lightweight design helps promote the comfort and casual nature that Crocs are known for.

But it’s important to understand that the weight of your Crocs will vary depending on the type of Crocs you choose. The type of outsole and insole can vary between clogs, and the width of the toe box also varies. And then, some types of Crocs are ventilated, while others are not.

All of these specific design features affect weight. But in general, all types of Crocs are very lightweight, especially compared to normal shoes and boots.

Crocs Classic Weight

Fit Roomy

The Classic Crocs weight is 0.43 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. The Crocs Classic Clog is the traditional Crocs style, with a ventilated toe and an open heel with heel strap. It has a roomy toe box, but I found my normal sizing to fit true to size (just don’t expect a narrow fit).

This Crocs Classic shoe is very comfortable and lightweight. Out of the ten types of Crocs that I tried, the Crocs Classic tied for the most lightweight with the Crocs Baya we discuss next.

The Baya Crocs weight is 0.43 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. These Crocs Baya Clogs tied the Crocs Classic Clogs as the most lightweight Crocs that I tried.

The Crocs Baya Clogs are very similar to the Crocs Classic Clogs, but they have extra ventilation holes for more breathability and more water release. The ventilation ports down the side spell the word “Crocs”. Just like the Crocs Classic Clogs, these Baya Clogs have an open heel with pivoting heel strap.

Crocs All Terrain Weight

Fit Roomy

The All Terrain Crocs weight is 0.56 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. The Crocs All-Terrain Clogs are a variation of the Crocs Classic Clogs, but with a couple small tweaks that make them more appropriate for outdoor recreation (Crocs Classic vs All Terrain). These All-Terrain Crocs have enhanced tread for better grip in outdoor terrain.

These Crocs have an adjustable heel strap that allows you to tighten the shoes better, which provides more secure support. These Crocs have a roomy fit just like the classic Crocs, and although they weigh a bit more due to the extra tread, they still have a very lightweight design.

Crocs Specialist II Weight

The Specialist II Crocs weight is 0.60 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. The Crocs Specialist II Clogs are another type of Crocs work clog, and these clogs have a very similar design to the Crocs Classic Clogs (only they fit a bit looser). The version that I own are not ventilated, but they are also sold in a ventilated option.

Although these Specialist Clogs have an open heel, the heel is taller than normal Crocs (think of it like a heel cup) which might help meet certain workplace standards. There is also extra arch support which can be beneficial on the job. Just like the Crocs Classics, they have a roomy toe box area.

Crocs Crocband Weight

Fit Relaxed

The Crocband Crocs weight is 0.60 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. The Crocs Crocband Clogs are very similar to the Crocs Classic Clogs, but they have a sportier, more colorful design that gives this type of Crocs a different appearance. Yes, just like the Crocs Classic Clogs, these Crocband Clogs have ventilation around the toe box, and have an open heel with heel strap.

But it is important to note that the ventilation is a bit different with these Crocband clogs, and doesn’t feature the side vents that the Crocs Classics have. Also, because these Crocband clogs have a “relaxed” fit, they aren’t quite as wide as the Crocs Classics that have a “roomy” fit (how do Crocs fit?).

Crocs LiteRide Weight

Fit Relaxed

The LiteRide Crocs weight is 0.66 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. The Crocs LiteRide Clogs are designed different than other Crocs styles. These LiteRide Clogs are ventilated, but the ventilation holes are much smaller than normal Crocs, which just gives these clogs a different appearance.

Overall, these LiteRide Clogs have a sleeker, more athletic design, and feature the LiteRide foam insoles for extra cushioning under the foot (Crocs with extra cushioning). Because these Crocs LiteRide Clogs have a “relaxed” fit, they aren’t quite as wide as the Crocs Classics that have a “roomy” fit.

Crocs Bistro Weight

Weight0.73 pounds

Fit Roomy

The Bistro Crocs weight is 0.73 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. They weigh a bit more than other types of Crocs due to the lack of ventilation holes, thicker metatarsal area, extra arch support, and raised heel cup.

All of these things make this clog a better work option than the Crocs Classic. Just like the Crocs Classic, the Crocs Bistro has a roomy toe box. I actually found these Crocs Bistro clogs to fit bigger than Crocs Classics.

Crocs Bistro Pro LiteRide Weight

Weight0.83 pounds

Fit Roomy

The Bistro Pro Crocs weight is 0.83 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s. They weigh a bit more than other types of Crocs due to the lack of ventilation holes, thicker metatarsal area, extra arch support, and raised heel cup. This Crocs Bistro Pro LiteRide Clog is designed mainly as a work clog, and has the extra soft LiteRide foam insoles.

These Crocs Bistro Pro Clogs also have an adjustable heel strap so you can customize the fit for extra support when needed. These Clogs also have the slip-resistant outsoles for extra grip. They do have the same roomy fit as the regular Crocs Bistro clogs, and are not ventilated.

Crocs On-the-Clock Weight

Weight0.84 pounds
ToeNot Vented
HeelClosed
Fit Relaxed

The On-the-Clock Crocs weight is 0.84 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s, making them the heaviest of the Crocs clogs that I tried. Obviously, this is still a lightweight design, but the closed heel does add weight compared to other styles of Crocs. This Crocs On-the-Clock shoe is designed for work, and because of that, it has both a closed toe and a close heel.

And it is important to understand that because this Crocs On-the-Clock shoe is meant to be used primarily as a work shoe, and has a slip on design without a heel strap, it has a snugger fit than Crocs Classics. No, don’t expect a tight fit, but the fit (which Crocs calls “Relaxed”) doesn’t have quite as wide of a toe box as the Crocs Classics.

Crocs Yukon Vista II Weight

Fit Roomy

My size 12 men’s Crocs Yukon Vista II clogs weigh 0.56 pounds per shoe. This makes these Crocs Yukon Vista II clogs tied for third lightest-in-weight out of the 10 Crocs clogs that I tried.

The Crocs Yukon Vista Clog is shaped much like the traditional Crocs Classics, but has several design differences. The faux leather detailing across the top gives it a unique, rugged design, and the adjustable heel strap allows you to customize the fit.

It lacks ventilation holes across the top, but does have the side ventilation holes, which helps increase air flow. It has a roomy toe box, but I found my normal sizing to fit true to size (just don’t expect a narrow fit).

This is the current price of these Crocs Yukon Vista Clogs available at Crocs.com (paid affiliate link takes you to Crocs.com). In my experience, the Crocs Yukon Vista Clogs fit true to size.
