Adidas Busenitz Sizing Guide w/ Real Comparison Photos

I’ve worn the Adidas Busenitz shoes and compared their sizing to other popular shoes and my conclusion is this: Adidas Busenitz sizing runs true to size, but they have the same snug fit that is common with many types of Adidas casual, skate-style shoes. I ordered my normal sizing and they fit fine, but if you prefer a looser fit, you may need to size up a half size.

It’s important to understand that Adidas designed this shoe with input from Dennis Busenitz to be a skate performance shoe, so creating a snug, dependable design was important. Do not expect a loose fit.

When I started to compare Adidas Busenitz sizing to other major brands, I found that these shoes are sized very consistent when compared to other classic performance and street-style shoes. For example, here are my size 12 Adidas Busenitz Shoes compared to my size 12 Vans Slip-On Shoes:

As you can see, those shoes have a very similar sizing. They both run true to size, but have a snug design for performance purposes.

But there are also popular shoes on the market today that fit bigger than my Adidas Busenitz shoes. For example, here are my size 12 Adidas Busenitz shoes compared to my size 12 Converse Chucks:

The Converse Chucks run at least a half size bigger than the Adidas Busenitz shoes. It’s important to note that Converse Chuck Taylor sizing is known for running about a half size big, but I think it’s a good illustration that there are popular shoes on the market that fit bigger than these Adidas Busenitz shoes.

In this article I want to discuss Adidas Busenitz sizing in more detail and directly compare the sizing of these shoes to the sizing of other popular shoes. I will compare these Adidas Busenitz shoes to other Adidas shoes, as well as Nike shoes, Converse shoes, Vans shoes, and New Balance shoes.

Adidas Busenitz Sizing

Do Adidas Busenitz Run Big or Small?

As you probably know, the Adidas Busenitz are skate shoes, designed with input from famous skater Dennis Busenitz. Like other Adidas skate-style shoes, these Adidas Busenitz shoes have a snug design based around performance.

As I mentioned earlier, I personally ordered my normal sizing and they fit true to size, but don’t expect a loose fit. If you prefer a looser fit, sizing up may be best.

Overall, these shoes have a lightweight design. My size 12 men’s Adidas Busenitz shoes weigh 1.11 pounds per shoe for a size 12 men’s shoe:

Are Adidas Busenitz Shoes Available in Wide Sizing?

This is where you can view the shoes that Adidas currently offers in wide sizing. At the time I am creating this Adidas Busenitz size guide, the Adidas Busenitz is not offered in wide sizing.

In my experience, these shoes do have a snug design. If you have wide feet, sizing up a half size to create a little extra breathing room inside the shoe may be best.

Adidas Busenitz vs Vans UltraRange Sizing

I have found the Vans UltraRange shoes to fit a bit looser than other types of classic Vans shoes. The Adidas Busenitz fit a little bit smaller than these Vans UltraRange shoes, but I don’t think I’d call it a half-size difference. Here are mine, both size 12:

Adidas Busenitz Sizing vs Nike Air Max

Nike Air Max shoes are a bit more difficult to compare with a picture due to the fact that the heal pushes the shoe away from the door, and due to the large amount of cushioning around the collar. I did my best to align the back collar of these two shoes as best I could.

I feel like the Nike Air Max shoes run almost a half size bigger than these Adidas Busenitz shoes:
