Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle Sizing – Run Big or Small? [Pics]

I’ve worn the Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle shoes and compared their sizing to other popular styles and my conclusion was this: Vans EVDNT sizing fits true to size, and in my experience they don’t fit quite as snug and narrow as other types of classic Vans shoes.

One thing that is common with Vans sizing is many of the classic styles are designed to have a snug fit. If you have wide feet, this obviously can be a problem. In general, these Vans EVDNT shoes are narrow, and if you have wide feet I’d recommend wide sizing.

To order wide sizing for Vans you actually have to go to the Vans Customs page. Click here to view the Vans Customs page where you can order wide Vans sizing (affiliate link takes you to Vans.com).

As I mentioned at the top, I personally have found the Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle shoes to fit true to size. But I will caution you, they do run smaller than some other types of popular shoes. For example, when comparing these Vans EVDNT shoes vs Converse Chucks, I found the Converse Chucks to fit looser:

As you can see, the Converse Chucks are bigger. But it’s important to remember that Converse Chucks are known for running bigger than other shoes, and there are other types of shoes that match up well with Vans EVDNT sizing. For example, here are my size 12 Nike Cortez shoes compared to those same size 12 Vans EVDNT shoes:

In this article I want to further discuss Vans EVDNT sizing, and also compare these shoes to other types of popular shoes on the market today so you can use comparison pictures to help determine what sizing is best for you.

How do Vans EVDNT shoes fit?

The Vans EVDNT shoes, in my experience, have a fit that is true to size. I wouldn’t describe the fit as loose in any way, but I do not think these shoes fit quite as snug as other types of Vans shoes. My recommendation is to order your normal sizing.

To be clear, when I say they fit a little bit bigger than traditional Vans, I don’t mean enough to change your sizing. For a better illustration, here are by size 12 Vans EVDNT compared to my size 12 Vans Slip On Shoes:

I felt like these Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle Shoes were just a slight bit looser, but not enough to alter sizing. These shoes are what Vans refers to as “lifestyle footwear”, and even though they are molded very similar to the skate shoes, they have a bold design that can be worn with a wide range of outfits. But they still have a lightweight design – my size 12 shoes only weigh 0.87 pounds per shoe:

In this article I want to discuss Vans EVDNT UltimateWaffle sizing by comparing this shoe to other popular brands on the market today, including Converse, Nike, and Adidas. Again, I would recommend using the size guide linked below to verify your correct Vans shoe sizing:
