Are Nike Cortez Shoes Wide or Narrow?
In my experience, Nike Cortez shoes have a narrow design compared to most other types of shoes. If you have wide feet, you will likely need to size up for extra space.
For example, below are my men’s Nike Cortez shoes compared to Crocs (Crocs are well known for having a wide-fit design):
And below are women’s Nike Cortez compared to Crocs:
As you can see, the Nike Cortez has a much narrower design, especially near the toe.
The main takeaway is expect the Nike Cortez to have a snug design in both width and length. If you need wide sizing, you may need to go up a half size.
Nike Cortez Sizing Conclusion
In my experience, the Nike Cortez runs smaller than normal shoe sizing in both length and width. In most situations, it is best to size up a half size compared to your normal shoe sizing.
The width of the Nike Cortez is narrow compared to most other types of athletic shoes. If you have wide feet, it would be best to size up for extra space inside the shoe. This is where you can read more about the width sizing of Nike Cortez.
