Do DC Shoes Fit Wide or Narrow?
In my experience, DC shoes have a regular width in the forefoot area that doesn’t fit too wide or too narrow. They have a width that is similar to other types of popular skate shoes.
For example, here are my DC shoes compared to the sizing of Vans:
As you can see above, the width near the toe box is very similar.
However, many types of DC shoes have a wide collar opening, which can create a bulky fit. But because there is extra padding around the collar in DC shoes, the fit in this area still feels normal.
DC Shoes Toe Box Sizing
The toe-box depth of DC Court Graffik is very similar to normal athletic shoes. For example, here is my DC Court Graffik toe box (on the left) compared to Nike Air Max:
And the depth of DC Court Graffik toe box is similar to other certain types of skate shoes. For example, here is my DC Court Graffik (on the left) compared to Nike SB Force 58:
However, there are certain types of skate shoes that provide a more snug fit near the toes than DC shoes. For example, below is a photo of my DC Court Graffik toe box compared to Vans Old Skool:
And here is a photo of my DC Court Graffik toe box compared to Adidas Gazelle:
And here is a photo of my DC Court Graffik toe box compared to Nike SB Chron 2:
The main takeaway is expect the DC Court Graffik toe box to be very normal compared to typical athletic shoes, but the toe-box depth is a bit deeper than many other types of skate shoes.
DC Shoes Sizing Conclusion
In my experience, DC shoes fits true to size. Both the sizing and width of DC shoes is true-to-size and very similar to other types of popular skate shoes. The collar area is a bit wider than normal shoes, but because there is extra padding, the fit in this area still feels normal.
