As you can see above, even though the length is similar, the width of the toe box is different. Let’s discuss that in more detail next.

The Nike Air Force 1 has a wider toe box, but the shape of the toe box also is a bit different. Let’s discuss that next.

Toe Box Shape

The toe box shape of the Nike Air Force 1 has a more squared design than the Reebok Classic. Here is the toe box of my Nike Air Force 1 vs Reebok Classic (AF1 on left):

As you can see above, the overall depth of the toe box is similar, but the Nike Air Force 1 has more space in the toe box due to the shape of the toe. When you combine this with the fact that the Nike Air Force 1 also has a wider toe box, it causes the AF1 to have a roomy fit that can feel loose compared to many types of athletic shoes.

Sizing Advice for Nike Air Force 1 vs Reebok Classic

Both the Reebok Classic and Nike Air Force 1 fit true-to-size regarding length for most people. However, because the Nike Air Force 1 has a wide, roomy toe box, it can feel loose compared to normal shoe sizing for those that have narrow or regular feet.

The Reebok Classic width is much more similar compared to normal athletic shoes. I ordered my normal sizing for both and they felt comfortable, but the AF1 definitely was looser on my foot than the Reebok Classic.
