This is a Timberland Radford Boots review. The Radford boots are popular casual boots that make for a comfortable way to combine the Timberland brand with your everyday wardrobe. If you are interested in Timberland casual boots, here is what you need to know about some of their most popular styles:
- Timberland Original Earthkeeper Boot – The Original Earthkeeper boots are one of Timberland’s most popular boots. These are similar to the Radford boots in that they combine a rugged design with comfortable construction that make them a perfect casual boot. Eco-friendly material. Premium full-grain leather uppers.
- Timberland Kendrick Waterproof Chukka Boot – These are stylish chukka boots that are perfect for business casual environments. Waterproof, full-grain leather. These boots provide the style and look of dress shoes in a comfortable fit that gives you a classy look that is easy to wear.
- Timberland Groveton Chukka Leather Sneaker – Great casual sneaker that fits in both casually, and at the office. Multiple colors available. Perfect street shoe for weekends out. Hybrid chukka style that is part boot and part sneaker.
- Timberland PRO Pit Boss Boots – Although the Pit Boss boots are one of the most popular work boots on the market, the soft toe version also makes for a nice casual coot. Compact design that isn’t as bulky as other work boots. Heat-resistant rubber make these awesome summer boots.
- Timberland Radford Waterproof Boots – Although the Radford boots can also be used as work boots, these are a very popular style of casual Timberland boots. Full-grain leather with seam-sealed construction and the iconic Timberland style which gives a casual wardrobe a bit of edge. We review these boots in this article.
In this article we are going to focus exclusively on the Radford boots. Although the Timberland Radford boots could be worn as work boots, they are best as all-day casual boots and work particularly well as winter boots due to their waterproof construction.
These boots are particularly popular because they combine the classic Timberland look with the sleek design of a more casual style so that these boots combine all-day comfort with a bit of that blue-collar edge.

Timberland Radford Review
How do Timberland Radford Boots Fit?
In my experience, the Timberland Radford boots fit true to size. I ordered my normal sizing and have not had an issue.
That said, it is important to remember that these boots are a bit more sleek than other types of Timberland boots. If you have wide feet, I’d recommend ordering the wide sizing.
Features
As we discussed earlier, these boots are casual boots that combine the classic Timberland look with the sleekness of a more casual style so that these boots combine all-day comfort with a bit of that blue-collar edge.
Because these boots are more casual boots than work boots, they don’t have the heavy-duty features that some of the premium work boots have (like the Pit Boss boots or the Direct Attach boots). And although the workmanlike edge of Timberland boots is carried through to the design of these boots, overall, they are built more for comfort and style.
I view these boots as all-day casual boots – boots that give you something that is more heavy duty than a pair of sneakers, but boots that are casual enough that they won’t weigh you down and kill your feet. In fact, these boots are quite comfortable to wear.
The Radford boots are made with full-grain leather uppers. They have padded collars and EVA footbeds (EVA is a short for ethylene vinyl acetate. It is a rubber-like plastic that has heat and cold resistance, and holds up well over the long haul).
The leather is waterproof and seam-sealed, which makes these Radford boots quality winter boots.
Here are a list of features for the Timberland Radford Boots:
- Full-grain leather uppers
- Certified Waterproof
- Seam-sealed construction
- Padded upper collars
- EVA footbeds
- SensorFlex™ comfort system outsoles for support and flexibility
