This is my Rockport Storm Surge review. These boots combine durable leather and seam-sealed waterproof construction for reliable protection in wet winter conditions. Despite being boots, they are still very flexible and easy to wear.

Rockport Men’s Storm Surge Boots Review

Flexible and Comfortable Design

These are the Rockport Men’s Storm Surge Boots. These are great winter casual boots. And despite being boots, don’t think of these as stiff and clumsy. They are actually quite flexible and easy to wear.

At the top of the page I have a video review where I demonstrate how flexible these boots are. That flexibility that makes them practical for daily use while still delivering the support you need in winter conditions.

These boots have a raised square heel. This heel design adds support and stability, making them suitable for long workdays or extended outdoor use.

Durable Leather and Waterproof Construction

They are made with durable leather, and they do have a seam-sealed waterproof construction, which is designed to block water from penetrating the boot. This feature makes them an excellent choice for wet or snowy weather, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.

Rockport’s Hydro Shield Technology enhances this waterproof construction, ensuring unbeatable protection from water while maintaining breathability.

Partially Gusseted Tongue

The tongue is partially gusseted—I tried to show that in the video review at the top of the page. This tongue gusset not only helps hold out moisture but also helps hold out small debris like rocks from slipping down inside the boot.

This makes these boots great for outdoor activities, and for wet winter conditions.

Soft Insoles and Collar

The insoles in these shoes are very soft and comfortable. Something else I like is these shoes have thick padding around the collar area. I can feel that padding against my ankle when I lace these shoes tight.

The memory foam removable insoles provide not only comfort but also customization. You can replace them with orthotic inserts if needed, adapting the boots to your specific foot support needs.

My Sizing Advice

In the video review at the top of the page I tried to show how these boots react on my foot. Again, a comfortable, easy-to-wear design. I ordered my normal sizing, and I don’t have any heel slippage, and my toes do not feel crowded, so normal sizing worked best for me.

Rockport also offers these boots in extended sizes and widths, so you can find the perfect fit for your feet.
