This is my Rockport ProWalker M7100 review. These shoes are designed to look like casual shoes but with the comfort and flexibility of an athletic walking shoe. They also unique heel stitching that stitches the upper directly to the sole to provide more heel stability.

Casual Look with Athletic Comfort
The Rockport Men’s ProWalker M7100 Shoes are designed to combine the look of casual shoes with the comfort and flexibility of athletic walking shoes. Their unique construction makes them a versatile choice for everyday wear.
Flexibility and Stability
These Rockport M7100 shoes are impressively flexible. If you watch my review video for these shoes at the top of the page I demonstrate how flexible these shoes are.
The flexibility allows for natural foot movement, making them feel comfortable right out of the box with almost no break-in time.
Despite this flexibility, they also offer excellent stability near the heel. This is achieved through a design that stitches the upper directly to the sole in the heel area, which adds heel support.
Comfortable Insoles and Padded Collar
The insoles in these Rockport ProWalker shoes are soft and comfortable, conforming to the shape of your feet for a personalized fit.
Around the collar, thick padding adds extra comfort. I can feel that padding against my ankle when I lace these tight.
Leather Upper
The upper is made of leather, which is not only durable but also easy to clean and maintain. Over time, the leather conforms to the shape of your foot, which adds to the comfort.
Despite being made with leather, in my experience, these were very comfortable right out of the box and had a very short break in period.
Comfortable Fit and True Sizing
I personally ordered my normal sizing and I did not have any heel slippage and my toes did not feel crowded, so normal sizing worked best for me.
My advice would be to order your normal sizing. Remember, they do have Rockport’s Walking Platform construction, which offers a wide base of support for the heel.
