This is my Dr. Scholl’s Cambridge II review. These shoes are slip-resistant work shoes that feel very much like athletic shoes on my feet. They are very flexible and comfortable to wear and are great for food-service jobs. I ordered my normal sizing and they fit true to size.
These are Dr. Scholl’s most popular slip-resistant work shoes:

Dr. Scholl’s Cambridge Work Shoes Review
Slip-Resistant Outsoles
The Dr. Scholl’s Cambridge 2 Work Shoes feature slip-resistant outsoles that certain workplaces may require. These outsoles meet SATRA TM63 and TM144 standards and have passed additional testing on surfaces like vinyl tile, eurotile, and steel plates.
The Lock Step Outsole™ is oil-resistant and slip-resistant, providing reliable grip. I tried to show the slip-resistant design on the screen.
Lightweight and Flexible Design
In my review video at the top of the page I tried to show just how flexible these shoes are.
Despite being work shoes, the Cambridge model has a lightweight and flexible design that feels like athletic shoes on my feet. Because they are so flexible, there is almost no break-in time. They feel ready to wear right out of the box, which adds to their convenience.
Secure Fit
These shoes do have the tongue lace loop, which keeps the tongue in place while you move around and prevents the tongue from sliding left or right.
The lace-up front, padded tongue, and thick padding around the collar ensure the shoes fit securely and comfortably.
Comfortable Insoles and Padding
The insoles in these shoes are very comfortable and include anti-microbial technology to reduce odor. Something else I like is that these shoes have thick padding around the collar area.
I can feel that padding against my ankle when I lace these shoes tight. The insoles also provide anatomical cushioning, comfort, and arch support.
Durable Leather Upper
The upper is made with majority leather certified by the Leather Working Group, with the balance being manmade materials.
Although these are not waterproof shoes, in my review video at the top of the page I tried to show on the screen that they are pretty good at repelling liquids in case of a spill.
My Sizing Advice
You can watch my review video at the top of the page to see how these shoes react on my foot.
The midsole area is designed to absorb shock and reduce foot pressure. This high-rebound midsole moves with your foot, providing a more natural and comfortable walking experience.
I ordered my normal sizing, and it worked best for me. I don’t have any heel slippage, and my toes do not feel crowded. At the top of the page, I tried to show how these shoes react on my foot. Again, the design is comfortable and easy to wear.
