Below is a comparison of Chisos No. 1 Boots vs Lucchese Crayton Boots (Lucchese style N1560.74). I have included photos of the boots that I own so you can see the difference. I wanted to post these because they are two of my favorite boots currently in production. Obviously, there are differences. The Chisos No. 1 is made using a cowhide leather and the Lucchese Crayton is made using Mad Dog Goat Leather. Also, the Chisos boot has a rounded toe and the Lucchese Crayton has a modern square toe. The Lucchese heel is also slightly taller. Awesome boots – See photos below.
Chisos No. 1 Boot in colorway Brushed Brown
Type: This is a men’s Chisos No. 1 Boot in colorway Brushed Brown. The Chisos No. 1 Boot is made from Chisos heritage cowhide leather. 1⅝” Heel. These boots are in good pre-owned condition and have only been lightly worn. The leather is in great shape. The outsoles and rubber heel caps show minor wear from use, but have plenty of good life left in them. Great boots.











Lucchese Crayton Boots in colorway Black
Type: These are men’s Lucchese Crayton Boots in colorway Black. Unlike the Chisos boot from above which are made from a cowhide leather, these boots are made with a full length Mad Dog goat leather upper. Lucchese style N1560.74. These boots are built with a Lucchese 7 toe and 4 heel. The 7 toe is their western square toe and the 4 heel is their traditional cowboy heel (1 ¾” tall). Made in USA. These boots are in excellent pre-owned condition and have only gentle signs of wear. The outsoles and rubber heel caps are in great shape.
