Tecovas Billy vs Boone Python Western Cowboy Boots Compared [What’s the Difference]

Below is a comparison of Tecovas Billy vs Boone Python Boots. I have included photos of both of the boots that I own so you can see the difference. Both boots feature an African Python vamp using single-piece construction (this requires a larger, more mature snake for single piece construction). And both styles have a calfskin shaft. Shaft colorway is different and the Billy uses a natural edge midsole and heel stack color. (See photos below)

Tecovas Billy Python Boots

These are the men’s Tecovas ‘The Billy’ Python Boots. Tecovas Style 1015. This boot was originally a limited edition release in the Christmas season of 2019, but Tecovas has since done a couple other limited runs (2021ish). This is colorway Saddle Python. Each pair features a uniquely-patterned python leather vamp with a calfskin shaft. Leather outsoles with rubber heel caps.

Tecovas Boone Python Boots

Type: These are men’s Tecovas ‘The Boone’ Python Boots in colorway Saddle Python. Just like the Billy above, the Boone was a limited edition run that Tecovas did during the Christmas season of 2019. These boots also have a python leather foot with a calfskin shaft. Leather outsoles with rubber heel caps. Tecovas style 1015. The python leather is in good shape with no rips or tears, but does have some gentle creasing in the vamp area.
