Below is a comparison of the Tecovas Earl vs Tecovas Cole boots. I have included photos of both of the boots that I own so you can see the difference. The Tecovas Earl is a roper boot that originally was created for non-exotic leathers such as cowhide and goat. The Tecovas Cole was another men’s roper boot that Tecovas offered, but it was made with a belly-cut caiman foot. Tecovas has since discontinued the Cole boot and just combined it with the Earl (which is now offered in caiman versions). The overall appearance of the Tecovas Earl vs Cole boot was basically the same except for the type of leather used. Both are roper boots.
